"The infrastructure is holding. Our staff is on the ground daily, managing the initial herd and preparing the land for the school and orphanage expansion."
At Brothers for Christ, we aren't just sending relief; we are building a foundation for total independence. We believe the local ministry in Amolatar can and should stand on its own two feet through sustainable agriculture and infrastructure.
We have raised $50,000 to secure our first 100 goats. Our target is a 700-head herd, which allows the ministry to sell 200 goats annually—generating $20,000/year in local, sustainable income.
"While it may take 4-5 years to reach this scale, we are moving with purpose toward the day Musa's team no longer relies on a check from Texas."
17 acres confirmed. We are praying for 50 total acres to house the future orphanage, school, and church.
Future plans include a chicken coop for egg production and a fish pond for both nutrition and local sale.
"We call these 'Faith Goals' because we follow where God leads. While we don't have a corporate plan for every brick yet, we have a stubborn trust that as we commit our work to Him, He will establish our steps."
Until our herd reaches self-sustaining scale (Year 5), we require $516 per month to maintain high standards of care and security on-site.
